Concussion Certification Information
Minnesota has a Concussion Law which requires all public and private athletic associations to implement concussion training and education. You are required to do this training every three years.
All Club Leaders, Coaches and Assistant Coaches must comply by following these steps.

Screen capture or print and scan your Certificate of Completion.

Upload your Certificate of Completion in your Volunteer Portal or during your Volunteer Application process.

On your Volunteer Profile page, click "Concussion Training Information" above the Qualification box, for complete upload instructions.
Important notes from training
Coaches must remove an athlete from the activity for the rest of the session if they exhibit signs, symptoms or behavior consistent with a concussion and/or are suspected of sustaining a concussion.
The law requires a doctor's signature to return to play if an athlete is removed due to a concussion or is showing signs or symptoms of a concussion.
